Batterfly Co., Ltd. is a specialist in AI solutions for battery safety monitoring and residual value assessment. Prototype development began in July 2021 as LG CNS’s 9th in-house venture; the company was incorporated in February 2022 and spun off in May of the same year.

Using machine learning, we analyze what we believe is the world’s first big-data set from electric buses in scheduled route service, delivering battery-life extension, battery health checks and carbon-emission indexing services.

Through our BBTAN subscription service we provide operational safety and fleet monitoring to electric bus and e-mobility operators, and through our DEAL4EV certification service we are building the market for used EV and used battery trading and high-voltage battery certification.

We are collecting one of the largest volumes of EV battery operating data among Korean start-ups, and continue to build a portfolio of AI patents and business models.
